S. Pal. Off Baseball Theme At Clatonia High Banquet The annual activity banquet of Clatonia high school WAS held Friday evening in the Clatonia Methodist church basement. Student council members. composed of the president and A representative from cach class had charge of the affair.

This group included Richard Sedlacek. Boyd Barkey, Pat Kindschi. Verla Pfeiffer. Roger Essman. Reed Smith, Carline Walker and Lewis Uhlman.

Mothers of the council members prepared the fricid chicken dinner for the 49 guests consisting of school board members and wives. Rev. and Mrs. 7. F.

Mover. faculty members and wives. Mr. and Mrs Harry Iwohn. and the high school student body.

The theme for the program and menu was a baseball game, cOnsisting of nine innings with Coach "Sam" Walker acting As "umpire." Taking part were Coach Walker. Merlin Rehm. Beverly AlSharon Braaf (solo). Robert Rehm. and Supt.

W. J. Rupert. The cheerleaders of the girls pep club. including Sharon Braaf, VerPfeiffer and Carlye Braaf.

and Mrs. Arlo Dierking and the Misses Vernetta and Erna Meinecke. Lioness Club Plans June Picnic Meeting The Lioness club regular monthly meeting Tuesday evening at the YWCA. Mrs. Ernest Sebby had charge of the social hour which was spent playing pinochle and bridge.

Mrs. Norton won high honors in pinochle and Mrs. Giesbrecht low. Mrs. Grosshans received high in bridge and Mrs.

Dillow low. The next meeting will be a picnic 15. Each member is asked to bring a covered dish and sandwiches. The committee will furnish dessert and coffee. T.A.B.

Club Meets With Mrs Sandersfeld The T.A.B. club met Thursday, May 13. with Mrs. Hazel Sandersfeld with eleven members and one guest, Mrs. Bowen, present.

The afternoon was spent sewing for the hostess and playing games. Mrs. Barnard was a prize winner. Lunch was served by the hostess. The next meeting will be with Mrs.

Lester Weigel on May 27. TWELFTH BIRTHDAY Donna Lee Dickerson. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.
