Ever since my appointment I have been trying to get acquainted with the needs of our District and with the rest of the Board we have considered many improvements which should be made. Due to the scarcity of materials, the shortage of many items and bad weather conditions, we are more or less handicapped at present, but as soon as we are able to secure these materials, we will be able to attend to many things which should be finished in our District.

Since the vacancy I am endeavoring to fill, will expire in the near future, I have decided to be a candidate for this position at the coming primary April 13, 1948. Since I have become acquainted with the work. I like to serve the District for another four years, and we hope you will go to the polls and express your choice.
