Quick, 17, De Witt, died Sunday afternoon, April 9, 1995, as the result of injuries received in a two-vehicle accident northwest of Beatrice. He was born Feb. 19, 1978,: at Anthony, and lived in Pawnee City and Beatrice before moving to De Witt in 1993.

He had attended Tri County High School, where he participated in wrestling. Survivors: mother and stepfather, Laura and Robert Helms of DeWitt; sister, Latricia Quick of the home; grandmother, Ila Helms of Pawnee City; Quick aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Patricia Quick and Ralph Helms. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, Trinity Lutheran Church, DeWitt, the Rev.

Julia Barbara Blecha PAWNEE CITY Julia Barbara Blecha, 98, Pawnee City, formerly of Table Rock, died Saturday, April 8, 1995, at Bryan Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.

She was born Jan. 25, 1897, at Table Rock. She married Louis Blecha on Dec. 16, 1919, in Pawnee City. She was a member of the Table Rock American Legion Auxiliary.

She was born on May 30, 1902, in Enid, Okla. She was a librarian in the Hebron Library for many years. Survivors: sister, Twila Ramsey of Fairbury; one grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manford Templin, in 1973. Funeral: 10 a.m.

Albert C. Schoenrock GLADSTONE Albert C. Schoenrock, 88, Gladstone, died Thursday, April 6, 1995, in a hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich. He was born May 15, 1906, in Jefferson County, and had farmed in the Gladstone area for many years. Survivors: son, Elton Schoenrock and wife Loyce of Fairbury; daughters, Carol Dykstra and husband Glenn of Hamilton, Bonnie Eggers a and husband Bob of Dillon, 11 grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; sisters, Millie Dykmann of Lincoln, Martha Schniebel of La Mesa, sisters-in-law, Ruth Schoenrock of Fairbury and Doris Lesoing of Lincoln.

Visitation: 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Hanover Mortuary, Hanover. Sharon (Davie) Marshall CROFTON Sharon (Davie) Marshall, 57, Crofton, died Wednesday, April 5, 1995, at Bryan Memorial Hospital, Lincoln. She was born Sept. 22, 1937, at Wayne and graduated from Wayne High School in 1953.

She married William Davie on Jan. 28, 1955, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wayne. The couple owned and operated Bill's Cafe until 1974. He died Jan. 6, 1974.

She later married Walt Marshall on Sept. 22, 1983, at Crofton. She continued to live at Crofton after his death in 1993. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Wayne. Survivors: sons, Randy D.

Davie and wife Jacquelyn of Wisner, Todd Davie and wife Debra of Omaha; daughter, Dawn Lang and husband Bruce of Beatrice; mother, Maude (Goodwin) Lindsay of Wayne; eight grandchildren; sister, Nyla Pokett of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Lindsay; her first husband, William Davie, on Jan. 6, 1974; second husband, Walt Marshall, on Sept. 22, 1983; a son, Jay; and three brothers. Kempston, 63, 110 S. Sumner Beatrice, died at Beatrice Community Hospital Monday morning, April 10, 1995. He was born April 21, 1931, at Greenleaf, and moved to Beatrice from Odell in 1947. He served in the Marines during the Korean Conflict. He and Naomi McMahan were married April 29, 1952, in Fairbury.

He was employed as a welder and truck driver for Crete Carrier for two years before his retirement in 1973. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and enjoyed repairing clocks. Survivors: wife, Naomi sons, Clifford J. Kempston and wife Jo of Tulsa, and Darold L. Kempston and wife Debra of Utica; daughter, Karen Franzen and husband James of Beatrice; 11 grandchildren; mother, Avis Kempston of Lincoln; brothers, John Kempston, Jerry Kempston and Darold Kempston and wife Dorothy, all of Lincoln; sisters, Wauneta Carver and husband Milton, and Joan Dotson, all of Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford C. Kempston; son, Richard; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Franzen. Funeral arrangements pending at GriffithsHovendick Chapel, Beatrice. William Jansen Ehmen SUMMERFIELD, Kan. William.

Jansen Ehmen, 89, Summerfield, formerly of Burchard, died Sunday, April 9, 1995, at Topeka, Kan. He was born Nov. 28, 1905, at Filley, Neb. He was a retired I ed farmer and carpenter and was a member of First Lutheran Church, Summerfield. He married Sophia Parde on Dec.

1, 1925, at Pickrell, Neb. Survivors: daughters, Erma McLaughlin and husband Joy of Burchard, Marilyn Ehmen of North Platte, and Verna Mae Richardson and husband Keith of Pawnee City, sons, John Ehmen and wife Mary of Topeka, and Don Ehmen and wife Anna of Wheeler, 19 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Grace Zimmerman of Beatrice, Emma Lienemann and husband John of Minneapolis, and Teda Johnson of Benton Harbor, brothers, Henry Ehmen and wife Elenore and Thees Ehmen and wife Aleta, all of Pickrell, Neb. Rose Kvasnicka CRETE Rose Kvasnicka, 96, Crete, died Friday, April 7, 1995, at Crete Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 3, 1898, in an old stone house on a farm near Narca, Kan. When she was very young, the family moved to a farm near Haddam, and she attended rural school near her home. She married William Kvasnicka on July 24, 1917, at Washington, Kan.

The couple made their home on a farm west of Wilber, and later moved to their farm near Crete. After her husband died, she remained living on the farm with her two sons, Elmer and Clarence. Survivors: sons, Elmer Kvasnicka and Clarence Kvasnicka, both of Crete; daughter, Grace Tenopir and husband Earnest of Lincoln; granddaughter, Peggy Hiestand and husband Jerry of Lincoln; two greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Emma (Forman) Tuma; husband, William Kvasnicka, on Oct. 9, 1983; brothers, Edward, Emil and Paul Tuma; sisters, Bessie Mares and Helen Musil; an infant brother and an infant sister.

Kansas Cash TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) There was a jackpot winner Saturday night in the "'Kansas Cash drawing, worth an estimated $50,000. The Kansas Lottery Commission reports that: The winning numbers were 3-8-12-16-19-29. Five numbers were picked by 46 players, with each ticket worth $79. Four numbers were picked by 1,254 players, with each ticket worth $5.

The next Cash Lotto drawing will be worth an estimated $50,000.
