Nov, 4 is World Community Day 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church. Study course of three sessions starts Oct. 30. Mrs.

Ed O'Don-nell gave devotions, "Are You a Mrs. Sherman Gillett gave the program on "What Does W.S.C.S. Mean to You." Fred Springsrr Blue Springs. Immediately following the ceremony the bride's parents held a reception at the church basement. Assisting were Mrs. Herb Wasser-man, Mrs.

Art Vanek, Mrs. Chris Meints, Mrs. Arnold Meints, Mrs. Ehme Wallman, Mrs. Bruce Cook, Mrs.

Ron Snook and Misses Janet Forke and Arlene Schmidt. Arranging the giftJ were Misses Lois Weber, Lenora Gerdes and Adella Wienck, Miss Eileen Wenzl. Lincoln, had charge of the guest book. For traveling, the' bride chose a navy blue wool outfit with matching navy blue and winter white accessories, After their wedding trip, the couple will make their home at 601 Grable Street, Beatrice. The bride was graduated from Wymore High School and is presently employed hy The State Savings and Loan Association.

The bride is a graduate of Beatrice High School and is employed at Mosiman's. The groom was also graduated from Beatrice High School and is employed by Thompson's Market. Home of Mrs. Werner scene of Circle meeting Our Lady of Peace Circle met on Oct. 20 at 2 p.m.

at the home of Mrs. Leo Werner, 1108 So. 6th with 18 members present. The meeting was opened with thePrayef "and" thePIedgetrthe Cross by the president, Mrs. Chas Redmond, and the Rosary was recited by the group and led by Mrs.

Joe Kreuzberg. The group still has its Gold Bond Stamp Project, which is progressing fine. Plans were, made for the Rummage Sale, which will be held on Oct. 21 at the K.C. Hall at 8th and High St.

Plans also were made to serve at the Meyer Farm Sale, which will be held Oct. 27. The club prize was received by Mrs Frank" Witkowskr and the special prize was received by Mrs. William Kosobud." The next meeting will be on Nov. p.m.-at the home of Mrs.

Ella St. -After the business meeting adjourned a social hour followed with lunch. Bumble Bee, an old gold-mining ghost town, -is becoming a tourist, attraction. An old trading post has been made a museum, and other old buildings are being restored. Miss Sharon May McCown, the daughter of Filbur McCown, Lincoln, and Mrs.

Willard Lampe performed the double ring ceremony Oct. 16 at 4 p.m. Baskets of white gladioli and fern and two candelabra decorated the altar. The organist, Mrs. H.

The sleeves ended in bridal oints over the hands. Her veil was of fingertip length and she carried a white Bible topped with red roses. Miss Ruth Stein was maid of honor and Mrs. Larry Schuerman and Miss Reva Poppen, Beatrice, were bridesmaids.

The molded bodice and sheath skirt featured a panel of Venice lace to the hemline. A bouffant draped ov-er-skirt was caught at the waistline. Her elbow length veil of Imported silk illusion fell to a circular sweep from a jeweled coronet.

She carried a bouquet of white mums centered with a white orchid. A 5:30 p.m. dinner was served at the Paddock Hotel to the immediate families. Mrs. Albert is a faculty member of the West Community Schools Omaha.

Mr. Albert is employed by Union Pacific, Omaha. After a trip to California, they will make their home at 1742 So. 32nd -Ave-t-Qmaha. munity Day.

The Christmas gifts to be frun'ished by Circle 3 for the Mission Church at Spaulding, are-four gifts for girls -a four gifts for boys ages 12 to 18. Circle members reported making 60 church calls since the last meeting, The group was dismissed with the repeating of the Lord's Prayer. Waldon. The meeting opened with everyone singing the Twenty third Psalm. Mrs. Merle Jones gave "Moments with Missions," stressing missionaries in India. Mrs.

Clyde Dempster presented the program, "Study of the Church.1' Mrs. Ralph Humphrey, circle leader, conducted the business meeting. Individual members contributed money towards the purchase of a Medical kit. The quota for the Christmas package to the Mission Church for Circle 2 Is gifts for six women and nine Christmas bags. The 13 members present reported making 50 calls the past month. The group was reminded that division Is to serve the November Service Society luncheon. Circle was dismissed by all singing together "Blest be the Tie that Binds." followed by the Mispah Benediction. Circle Circle 3 met for a dessert luncheon Oct. 20 at the home of Mrs.

Peter's Lutheran Church, Wymore. The Rev; Walter Landgraf performed the candlelight ceremony at 6: 30 p.m. in the presence of 200 guests. Baskets of white gladioli and blue and white asters decorated the altar. Bill Hobelman sang Promise Me" and "Wedding Prayer" and Mrs.

Ernest Jur-gens played the traditional wedding music. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a gown of imported chantilly lace over taffeta. Scallops of lace framed the sabrina neckline of the lace basque which featured long sleeves tapered to bridal points. The full gathered skirt of lace billowed to floor length, the back featuring cascading tiers of scalloped lace. Her finsertip veil of french illusion was held in place by a pearl crown.

The bride carried red sweetheart roses on a lace covered white Bible and wore a pearl necklace, a gift of the groom. The maid of honor was I Nancy Dawson, Wymore, and the bridesmaids wore Miss a 1 Meints, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Richard Schcldelcr. Beatrice. They wore royil blue ballerina length dresses of chiffon over taffeta with a royal blue cummerbund with matching hats.
