Treasury bills WASHINGTON (AP) Interest rates on short-term Treasury securities fell in Monday's auction to the lowest level in several months. The Treasury Department sold $7.2 billion in three-month bills at an avenge discount rate of 7.64 percent, down from 7.88 percent last week.
