Mrs. Llntz Is the former Odetta Kliene. will appear in 'Sketchbook' Perform fire baton routine at local benefit Mary Lee Jepsen, Miss Nebraska, has been signed to appear in "The Sertoma Sketchbook" the two-act musical revue to be presented Dec. 7 and 8 at City Auditorium as a benefit for the two local hospitals. In a telephone conversation with Dick Wood, "Sketchbook" director, Mist Jepsen said today that she was very pleased to be able to be a part of this fine civic project, and that she was looking forward to being in Beatrice again.

Miss Jepsen won her title last June on the stape of the Beatrice auditorium and in September won honors as a finalist the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City. During each performance of "The Sertoma Sketchbuook" Mary Lee will appear in her official Miss Nebraska ball gown to greet the audience. Late' in the show she will display her ability as a performer doing a fire baton routine. Mary' Lee is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Glenn K. Jepsen of Papillion. She is a student at the University of Nebraska and is appearing throughout the state this year for both commercial and civic organizations. Dick and Mary Lee are not strangers, since. he directed The Miss Nebraska Pageant where she won first honors.

He was born June 12, 1893, at Stromsburg and lived in Schribner for several years before moving to Beatrice. He was manager of the IGA Grocery Store here for 18 years before moving to Kingman, where he continued in the grocery business until his retirement. Surviving are his widow, Viola of Kingman; o.ie daughter, Mrs. (Fred (Marchetta) Brown, Kingman; one sister; and four grandchildren.
